Touched Apparel’s team is built on a foundation of family, community, and shared purpose. Led by founder Casey Ellerby, Touched Apparel’s vision is strengthened by the expertise and dedication of key members like Cori Ellerby, IT Specialist and Community Leader, and Da'Naja Ellerby, Assistant Director. Together, they embody the spirit of inclusion, empowerment, and healing that drives all of Touched Apparel’s initiatives.
Casey’s commitment to family and community fuels Touched Apparel’s mission to create lasting positive change. With Cori’s technical expertise and leadership and Da'Naja’s passion and guidance, Touched Apparel continues to create impactful campaigns that uplift and empower underfunded and marginalized communities.
Our extended team plays a vital role in this mission:
Volunteer Team: Led by Laurie Wright, our Lead Volunteer Coordinator, this group ensures smooth volunteer operations—from recruitment and training to scheduling and support—helping us bring Touched Apparel’s campaigns to life with care and efficiency.
Project Voter Pride Team: This team leads our civic engagement efforts focused on political and civil education, especially within the LGBTQIA+ community. Working closely with the Volunteer Team, they organize events, outreach, and release critical information to help empower all communities.
Amber Hasan — News & Awareness Coordinator: As part of Touched Apparel’s Global News & Awareness Team, Amber researches and curates global news, social issues, and cultural trends that align with Touched Apparel’s mission of advocacy, empowerment, and touching lives. Her work keeps our community informed, inspired, and aware of the issues shaping the world — helping others see, feel, and act with purpose.

FOUNDER
Casey Ellerby, founder of Touched Apparel, is an Event Consultant/Manager, Community Activist, and Cultural Curator dedicated to the holistic growth of individuals across generations. For over a decade, Casey has spearheaded the "Too Dope To Bully" campaign, empowering students, educators, and families with tools to navigate emotional intelligence and overcome the challenges of toxic environments.
With a rich background spanning 15 years, Casey has organized, curated, and managed diverse community events aimed at fostering inclusivity and resilience. Passionate about societal evolution, Casey continues to champion initiatives that uplift and inspire men, women, and children alike

Da’Naja Ellerby
Assistant Executive Director & Equity and Inclusion Officer
Da'Naja Ellerby serves as a vital member of the Touched Apparel leadership team, holding the dual role of Assistant Executive Director and Equity and Inclusion Officer. She is responsible for supporting the executive direction of the organization, ensuring that all programming, campaigns, and outreach efforts reflect the inclusive and purpose-driven mission of Touched Apparel.
She also leads event logistics—coordinating with vendors, volunteers, and internal departments to ensure that every campaign and community initiative is executed with excellence, equity, and impact.

Director of Digital Infrastructure & IT Support
Cori Ellerby, a seasoned IT technical support analyst with over 20 years of experience, brings extensive expertise in troubleshooting and system maintenance to Touched Apparel. As the visionary founder of the Gwinnett Esports League, he champions gaming and technology while prioritizing accessible education in tech and STEM fields. With 14 years of mentoring youth and fostering inclusive communities, Cori's leadership enriches Touched Apparel, ensuring smooth IT operations and a positive impact on the surrounding community.

Lead Volunteer Coordinator
Laurie Wright is the Lead Volunteer Coordinator at Touched Apparel, where she ensures volunteer operations run smoothly and meaningfully. Laurie recruits, onboards, and trains volunteers, builds sustainable schedules, and matches people’s strengths to roles that amplify their impact. She’s the primary point of contact for volunteers—providing support, guidance, and clear communication to keep teams motivated and mission-focused.
With a keen eye for organization and a heart for service, Laurie develops volunteer workflows, maintains participation records, and coordinates logistics for events and campaigns like Too Dope To Bully and Project Voter Pride. She also designs recognition and retention programs to celebrate contributions and nurture long-term engagement.
Laurie’s leadership ensures that every volunteer feels prepared, valued, and empowered to help Touched Apparel touch lives. Her combination of operational excellence and compassionate people-management creates a dependable volunteer program that strengthens community impact.

The Project Voter Pride Team leads Touched Apparel’s nonpartisan civic engagement work, focusing on informing, empowering, and activating communities—rooted in LGBTQIA+ representation but intentionally built for all. Working closely with the Lead Volunteer Coordinator, the team organizes inclusive events, develops accessible resources, and drives outreach that prioritizes equity and awareness. They manage all campaign initiatives and release important political, civil, and voter information throughout the month to keep communities engaged, informed, and ready to take action.

Through her work, Amber ensures that our community stays educated and engaged with the issues shaping our world, reminding us that awareness is the first step toward impact.
